1. M. Ed. This is a Two-year (4 Semesters) programme affiliated to the Goa University and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education with an intake of 50 students.
2. B. Ed. This programme is based on the curriculum prescribed by the Goa University to which this college is affiliated with an intake of 110 students
3. M. A. Education This is a Two year programme run by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) through distance mode. Admissions are done by IGNOU through its Regional Centre at Panaji. The Study Centre 0806P attached to the College comes under the Panaji Region.
4. Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher Training The College conducts a One year Diploma programme in Pre-primary teacher training affiliated to the Goa University. The programme deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching children in the age group of 3-6 years.
5. Ph. D. (Education) The Research Centre of the College has been recognized and affiliated to the Goa University and provides an opportunity for those desirous of doing a Ph.D in Education both in regular and part time mode. Admissions are done by the Goa University.

Report on Road Safety Awareness

Start Early, Drive Defensively, Reach Safely Date: 10 October 2022 G.V.M.s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education Ponda Goa organised talk on Road Safety and Accident Prevention by Directorate of Transport Government of Goa .The talk was addressed by Asst Director of transport Shri Sandeep Dessai in assistance of Road Transport Officer Mr. Korde amd other Staff members. Program coordinator for the talk was Mrs. Karuna Satardekar Asst Professor in Hindi . Program started with the introduction of guest speaker by principal of the College Dr. Jojen Mathew . Mr. Sandeep Dessai highlighted on status report of increasing rate of road accidents in Goa. Sir added on rules and regulations to follow while driving vehicle. He also informed about some of the traffic sign as warning, informatory, cautionary. Sir acknowledge the questions asked by students and tried to answer them. The session was enlightening to all the students and they enjoyed the talk thoroughly.

Report on Inauguration of New Academic Year 2022-23

25^th Aug 2022 : Inauguration  of New Academic Year 2022-23 GVMs Dr.Dada Vaidya College of Education, Ponda, Goa  recently had inauguration of new academic year 2022-23. It was a pleasure to receive all the B.Ed , M.ed and Pre-primary Teacher Training Course students at the beginning of the new academic session 2022-23. This new academic year has come with a new hope- a hope that after the dark clouds of Covid-19, a silver lining of getting back to normal life from the new normal will appear soon . G.V.M’s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education was established in 1993 in response to the growing demand for teacher education. The college is affiliated to Goa University and recognized by NCTE. The College offers B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D (Education) and Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher Training. College also has association with other Educational Institutions like,

Chairman of Goa Vidya Prasarak Mandals Working Committee Shri. Krishna Shetye , along with Shri Prabhat Shikerkar Treasurer GVMs working Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guest . He inspired students, teacher educators, office staff and multitasking staff with his commendable speech of how we should give our 100% in our work. Sir, suggested that all teachers should update themselves with the new knowledge and inspire future generation of our country. Whichever methodology or subject teachers will be teaching they should thoroughly learn and understand subject and then only step in to the class. As Sir also said that if teacher makes mistakes then whole generation learns wrong things. So to avoid such crime teachers shoul keep themselves upgraded.” Principal Dr. Jojen Mathew welcomed the gathering and promised that all the teaching staff and whole staff of this college will be there to build the new generation teachers from our college. Welcome prayer and prayer service were presented by Miss Harsha Ganpule ( 2^nd Year Students) and Mrs. Goretti Falcao ( Coordinator extession department of college). Video presentation on the history of college was presented through video mode by Shri Diptej Vernekar ( Assistant Professor at College). Introduction of staff , introduction office staff , multitasking was also done by Mrs. Karuna Satardekar( Associate Professor at College ). Dr. Deepa Varghese HOD Masters of Education Department , Shr. Vallabh Verenkar Coordinator of Pre-Primary Teacher Training Course briefed about the programmes which will be carried out during the year in their respective educational courses. Vote of thanks of proposed by Ms. Akshata Samant ( Assistant Professor at college) . A new ray of hope has been generated after two years of pandemic. From now onwards we all have to embrace the change and challenges coming on our way with a smile on our face , faith in our hearts . With this promise the programme came to an end. The inaugural programme was compered by Ms. Karuna Satardekar ( Associate Professor at College ).

Sir P. C. Ray: Saga of Genius Nationalist Father of Indian Chemistry GVMs Dr.Dada Vaidya College of Education, Ponda, Goa in association with Vidyan Parsihad Goa  recently had lecture for the students of College ( 1^st year and 2^nd Year ) on the topic “Sir P. C. Ray: Saga of Genius Nationalist Father of Indian Chemistry” Resource Person who delivered the lecture was Dr. M.R.Ramesh Kumar Chief Scientist (Retired) & Head, POD, NIO, Goa on  2nd Aug 2022 11.15 am - 12.15 pm at GVM’s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education Auditorium Dr. Jojen Mathew Principal GVM’s Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education informed students how important it is to have scientific temper ,and why it is important for teachers to be logical and scientif in thinking . Prof. Ramesh presented the ppt presentation , during the presentation he cleared many doubts of the students, He shared his vast knowledge in science and inspired the students to take part in different science programmes , exhibitions to keep themselves updated. He also urged the students to visit National Institute of Oceanography , Dona Paula, Goa and Goa University to understand the work done by scholars on different topics of science. Mrs. Karuna Satardekar (Associate Professor) was the coordinator of the lecture. Prof. Suhas Godse Vidnyan Parishad, Goa , the Vice President of Vidyan Parishad Goa initiated to have the talk for our students in our college .

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas National Unity Day

The purpose was to spread the message of national unity and the spirit of RashtriyaEkta and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and to reinforce our dedication to preserving and strengtheningour nation's unity, Integrity and security. The programme started with the principal's welcome address, Dr Jojen Mathew. The pledge was taken by the College Director of physical education Mr Shaunak Pagi and students, faculty repeated the pledge. Mr Shaunak Pagi explained the route of the unity run, and the run begin. Students and staff enjoyed the unity run and actively participated. The unity run route was equipped with a water station. vote of thanks was given by Pri-primary in charge Mr Vallabh Verenkar.
