SAKHAR FREE SHUKRAWAR

As a part of it's CSR initiative, in association with Department of Health, Govt. of Goa ,SANOFI collaborates with CONEXUS Foundation to bring a platform for Kids to raise awareness around ' Diabetes prevention' and also brings SAKHAR FREE SHUKRAWAR, a cooking contest for children was conducted on 17 November in school and on 19 November for second round at Rosary High School and the grand finale at Radissons Candolim .Miss Samruddhi Patil ,from class VIII F represented our school in top 10 finalist at the state level.

Our student Mast Ved Harshad Kamat will be presenting his science exhibit 'ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION' in Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) – 2022, exhibition which will be held at Guwahati, Assam.

Miss Mayuri Sindgikar from Std IX secured the 2nd place in the State level marathi elocution competition.

Report: Talk On Motor Vehicle Act

Students of V.M Salgaocar College of Law and members of Bandora Free Legal Aid Cell in coordination with Tr. Nicole D’Costa conducted a talk on 30th September,2022 on the Motor Vehicle Act. Master Siddhant Jambhale and Miss Simran Kanekar were highly resourceful as they elicited essential information on the topic. Mr. Jambhale gave a brief introduction to the Motor Vehicle Act as well as educated the students of class 10 the importance of each traffic sign. The students were also made aware of the dangers of driving without a license. Ms. Kanekar spoke on challans and it’s types and the ways in which challans can be paid. Visit to Tech Expo at BITS PILANI

We got an opportunity to visit the Tech Expo at the BITS PILANI,Goa Campus,which is an elite University in the field of Science and Technology along with a group of 30 students from STD IX on 17th September. We were at first shown a short video which made us familiar with the huge campus and the different technical departments of the Institute.Later, the Department Heads of the Institute briefed us about the different subjects taught in the Institute and also made the session interesting by involving the lively audience. The session that followed next was the power point presentation of the different exhibits which was followed by the display of projects ranging from automobiles,robotics,drones,and telescopes to projects on persistence vision and Schlieran photography. Our students were also briefed regarding the working of the exhibits. Tech Expo was successful in making the school students aware of the technical culture of BITS and displaying passion and innovation and technology. It was really an interesting experience and our students seemed to be highly impressed.
